ABOUT
Resonance is Samaw Dance's signature immersive performance experience. The project brings together dance, nightlife-inspired world building, and community activation through its signature night market.
Centered on AAPI and queer storytelling, Resonance combines live performance with interactive installations, local artisans, and community organizations to create an environment where audiences do more than watch a show. They move through the space, encounter stories, and participate in the experience.
Now in its fourth year, Resonance continues to expand its audience and artistic scope while staying rooted in celebration, identity, and connection.
THE NIGHT MARKET EXPERIENCE
A signature feature of Resonance is its night market environment. The market brings together local artisans, food vendors, and community organizations that reflect the cultural communities represented in the work.
Audience members are invited to explore installations, meet collaborators, and participate in interactive elements before and after the performance.
